Four days up the Swat valley to Kalam, out of the summer heat
We drive straight up the Swat valley to Kalam on the first day and stay two nights by the river, in the pine forests at the top of the valley.
The full day in Kalam takes in the Ushu forest and Mahodand Lake by jeep. On the way back we stop at the White Palace at Marghazar before a night in Mingora.

Questions people ask before booking
How long is the first day?
About 9 to 10 hours with stops, as we drive straight to Kalam. It means two full nights at the top of the valley rather than one.
Is it safe to travel to Swat?
Swat has been a busy family holiday valley for years. We travel the main roads, stay in established hotels and follow local advice; if anything changes before your date, we tell you on WhatsApp.
How do payment and the advance work?
Pay a 30% advance to confirm your seats, by cash or bank transfer. The balance is due 7 days before departure. You get a receipt on WhatsApp for every payment.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancel 14 or more days before departure for a full refund of your advance. Between 7 and 13 days, 50% is refunded. Within 7 days the advance is non-refundable. If we cancel a departure, you get a full refund or a free move to another date.
Can we travel with children?
Yes. Children aged 5 and over count as travellers; younger children share their parents’ room free. Tell us their ages when you book and we’ll plan the stops around them.
